Halcyon (翠鳥) is a discontinued Hearty Rise light freshwater lure series named for the kingfisher. These were slim, light spinning rods for stream and stillwater lure work, fitted with Fuji K-series guides and a Fuji reel seat, finished in an aqua-blue OPP coating with chameleon paintwork and gripped in high-density Portuguese cork. Five two-piece models ran 2.1 m to 2.36 m in UL, LL and L powers, throwing 1.5-18 g lures on 2-10 lb line at blank weights of 85 g to 101 g. No longer in production.
