KEEN Ocean

KEEN Ocean (銳海) is a deep-sea boat rod built for heavy loads, designed around sinkers of 250-500 gou and quarry holding at 100 m to 300 m. The white-painted tip is the bite indicator: even weak takes at depth read clearly against it. The blank carries thread-wrap reinforcement along its length for added strength, the reel seat is aluminum alloy with a double-ring lock that keeps a heavy reel from working loose, and the one-piece knurled aluminum handle sits securely in a boat rod holder without twisting. A high-strength safety-ring fitting is integrated into the handle, and the whole rod is finished in blue.

Two one-piece models cover the line, both in solid glass fiber at about 2.0 m: the 500-200R with ALPS roller guides (1223 g) and the 500-200 with Fuji ring guides (1190 g). Both are rated 250-500 gou. This is dedicated deep-drop bottom gear for large fish, fished from the rod holder.
