Laiquendi

Laiquendi (綠精靈, Green Sprite) is HR's lightweight stream lure series for small freshwater species. Blanks are rolled from imported Toray carbon with HR's NET V III process, joined with a spigot-style ferrule chosen for a clean outline plus high sensitivity and joint strength, and finished with full Fuji guides and reel seats. All three models are two-piece, 99 percent carbon, and under 75 g.

The LQS-642UL is a 1.93 m, 68 g spinning rod in UL for spoons around 1.5 g on 2 to 6 lb line; its soft tip is there to keep small fish pinned. The LQS-662L, which HR calls the classic of the series, is a 1.98 m L-power spinning model for 2.5 g spoons and small minnows, with a mid-section tuned during testing to reach casts past 30 m, covering everything from pale chub to smaller topmouth culter. The LQC-662L is the lone baitcasting model, a 1.98 m, 72 g regular-fast rod for spoons around 4 g. It is a compact three-rod set for creek and stream micro-lure work.
