MAD Attack (狂襲) is a discontinued light saltwater series built around three words in HR's own copy: slim, smooth, strong. Both models are 1.98 m one-piece rods at 90 percent carbon, rated for 25 to 100 g lures on lines to PE 2.5, with the spinning MAS-661ML at 142 g and the baitcasting-format MAC-661ML at 140 g. The pitch was a compact, easy-handling blank with enough reserve to fight sizeable fish on light gear across a wide range of jobs. No longer in the current catalog.
