Mighty III

Mighty III (剛勁派 III) is a surf casting rod built for genuine distance to reach offshore holes and channels from the beach. The blank carries a high-sensitivity tip so bottom rigs still telegraph bites at range, and Fuji slanted anti-tangle guides address the wrap-ups that long casts with heavy sinkers tend to produce. A distinctive feature is the built-in three-stage adjustable balance weight system, which lets the caster tune the rod's swing weight for easier distance work. The blank wears a bright plated finish and ships with a shoulder carry strap.

Four three-piece models cover two power classes at two lengths, all 99 percent carbon. The 38 class casts 10 to 30 gou sinkers: 4.05 m at 666 g and 4.25 m at 685 g. The 40 class steps up to 10 to 35 gou: 4.05 m at 676 g and 4.25 m at 705 g. Closed lengths run 144 to 149 cm. These are conventional three-section surf rods in the Japanese-Taiwanese casting mold, sized for throwing weighted rigs far off open beaches and long breakwaters.
