MINI BASS

MINI BASS (迷你鱸魚) is a single-model novelty with a clear job: a 3 ft 7 in casting rod, which HR states had no precedent on the market at this length, for fishing tight to cover. At 1.1 m and 67 g, the one-piece pistol-grip rod is meant for skipping and pitching under overhanging shoreline brush, working float-tube and boat bass water with low overhead clearance, and making short underhand casts where a normal-length rod costs accuracy. Ratings are 4 to 10 lb line and 1/8 to 1/2 oz lures on a 99 percent carbon blank.

Construction uses high-tonnage carbon wrapped in matte OPP resin, current-generation K guides to cut line tangle on the cast, and a handle shortened to ergonomic proportions for the underhand delivery the rod is built around. Metal trim rings and fittings finish it out. HR notes the short format also suits kids as well as adults, so it doubles as a first baitcaster, but the core use case is obstacle-course bass water where every cast is a trick shot.
