Predator III

Predator III (掠奪者 III) collects HR's current blank technologies into one lure-rod platform: NET-V III structural construction, ultra-high-density SNVC carbon, and the OPP lightweight coating process. The stated design brief is a rod with visual sensitivity and workability, meaning the tip shows what the lure is doing while the blank moves baits with a natural action, backed by enough strength and stability to absorb a sudden hit from a big fish and support varied retrieve styles from one rod.

Five two-piece spinning models run from medium to extra-heavy, all 99 percent carbon. The 2.22 m 732 models cover M (8 to 38 g lures, 8 to 20 lb, 123 g) and MH (10 to 50 g, 10 to 22 lb, 178 g). The longer 2.67 m 892 models cover MH (10 to 50 g, 10 to 25 lb, 162 g), H (20 to 70 g, 12 to 28 lb, 172 g), and an XH at the top. With lure ratings reaching 70 g and beyond, the series sits at the powerful end of HR's freshwater lure range, sized for big baits and big predators.
