Rouren II

Rouren II ("supple and tough") is a single-model boat rod built around a 2.3 m glass-heavy composite blank, listed at about 10 percent carbon with the balance in glass fiber. The added flex is deliberate: it makes rig handling and bait-working motions easier from a drifting or anchored boat, and the blank's progressive arc keeps pressure on fish without pulling hooks. Hearty Rise positions it for both shallow and deep marks, trading blank speed for a forgiving bend.

The one model, Rouren II 230, is a one-piece 2.3 m overhead rod weighing 758 g with a sinker rating of 100-400 go, which covers moderately heavy bottom-fishing weights in current.
