Skill Ocean

Skill Ocean is a heavy glass-fiber boat rod series built to land big fish on soft blanks. At 99 percent glass fiber, the rods have the deep flex and toughness that material provides: the tip moves naturally with the bait so fish commit without feeling resistance, and the mid-section works as a shock absorber in the fight, protecting the line while keeping steady pressure on. Hearty Rise positions it for both shallow and deep marks against large bottom targets.

Six one-piece models pair three sinker classes with two lengths, 2.12 m and 2.44 m. The 150 class is rated 80-250 go (915 g and 1012 g), and the 200 class 100-400 go (940 g and 1038 g), with a 300 class above them. These are heavy-duty bait rods for deep bottom fishing with big leads, where the glass blank's cushioning matters more than weight savings.
