Slash Monster is Hearty Rise's travel multi-piece rod for big-fish lure work, pitched at rivers, lakes and saltwater alike. The design brief emphasizes fast blank response and lure control together with the strength and stability to check a sudden heavyweight take, so large lures can be worked properly and big fish handled deliberately. The finish is a plain black scheme, and the blanks are 99% carbon.
Six casting-format models (SMC prefix) run from a 1.68 m four-piece to 2.14 m five-piece blanks, closing to 44-48 cm for transport. Ratings climb steeply: the 635MH handles lures to 30 g on PE 2, the 665H to 70 g on PE 4, the 705XH to 100 g on PE 5, and the short 564XXH takes lures to 130 g on PE 6. Several models, including the 564XXH, 665H and 705XH, are marked new in the current catalog.
