Slash Wave is Hearty Rise's current-generation shore jigging rod. The blank combines the brand's NET-V III structural technology with SNVC ultra-high-density carbon, reinforced by DOUBLE HELIX-X carbon tape wound in an X cross pattern, a build the factory credits for high strength with high toughness. Guides are Fuji K series, chosen to reduce effort on the cast and while working the jig, and the finish is a chameleon paint that shifts between blue and purple in the light.
Ten models cover two-piece and three-piece versions of the same ratings, from a 2.74 m M rated to 60 g jigs on PE 2 up through 2.9 m MH, H and XH models at 80 g, 100 g and 120 g on PE 3-5, topped by a 10 ft XXH class. Hearty Rise publishes drag ratings for each blank, from 6 kg to 10 kg at 90 degrees on the sampled models. Rod weights run 313 g to 361 g in the sample set.
