SLOW Jigging III S x Tokayo is a deep-water tuning of the SLOW Jigging III platform, developed with Hearty Rise field testers Captain AKA in Malaysia and HIDE in Taiwan. Against the previous generation the 5 ft 8 in blank gains lifting power while overall rod weight drops, and the strong recoil is meant to drive the jig's action on deep marks with less effort from the angler. Fuji titanium-frame Torzite guides, DOUBLE HELIX-X blank reinforcement, an oversized reel-seat grip for feel, and an ergonomic handle carry over from the flagship.
The range is three one-piece 1.77 m models at 95 percent carbon in an overhead-style layout: max 340 g jigs on PE 2.5 with 14 kg drag at 90 degrees (167 g), max 500 g on PE 3.0 with 18 kg (190 g), and max 800 g on PE 4.0 with 20 kg (220 g). It is the pick of the family for heavy jigs worked in deep water.
