Sonsei YOU is a Taiwan shrimp-pond pole built on a blend of 40T and 46T high-density carbon with Hearty Rise's NET-V III structural construction, giving a stiff, strongly resilient blank. The hollow tail-section design paired with the hard action is intended to put more force into the strike, raising the hook-up rate with balance-beam (tenbin) shrimp rigs. A four-position zoom system over the 4-5-6-7 sections lets the working length be adjusted to the pond.

The knife-profile handle has an anti-roll shape and accepts swapped hanger rings to suit individual habits, the grip is non-slip, and both a standard and a weighted butt cap are supplied. Upper and lower fittings are 24K gold plated, and the finish is a red chameleon lacquer. The single model is a 2.1 m, seven-section pole weighing 85 g and closing to 41 cm.
