Squid Blade is a handheld boat rod for swordtip squid (touche) work, built as a two-piece for easier transport to and from the boat. The white-painted tip raises visibility so the small pulls and pauses of a squid taking the rig are easier to read. The blank is high-density carbon at 99% content, built with NET-V III structural technology and an OPP lightweight reinforcement finish, which the factory credits for added toughness and easier handling over a session.
Hardware is Japanese: Fuji LC series anti-tangle guides and a Fuji PTS reel seat. The single model, SBC-682L, is 2.03 m, weighs 127 g, and is rated for sinker loads of 10-30 gou with a load ceiling of 120 g on lines to PE 1.0. It covers hand-worked squid rigs from party and charter boats where the rod is held all night.
Shaded band: the spread of the lineup's 1 model, as percentile rank among same-type rods. Solid line = series median · dashed ring = catalog median.
