GON SOKU ("rigid speed") is a compact telescopic multi-purpose saltwater rod that pairs a conventional layout with updated blank work. The maker's copy describes the goal as combining hand feel with balance: weight was cut while operability rose, producing a sharp, sensitive action that still keeps power in the blank so a large fish cannot take control of the fight.

Two models are offered, both 5-piece blanks on 95 percent carbon: a 2.1 m version at 104 g closing to 53 cm, and a 2.4 m at 115 g closing to 58 cm. Those weights are light for small telescopic rods in this class. The short lengths and pack-down sizes suit harbor, breakwater, and sea-pond duty where one portable rod covers bait rigs on mixed inshore species.
