The TOYO Squid Hunter is an eging series built on a high-toughness blank that Hearty Rise rates for working the full range of egi (squid jigs) across varied ground. The grip is a split EVA design shaped for a secure, non-slip hold, and the series is explicitly pitched as friendly to eging newcomers as well as established squid anglers.
Two spinning models are offered. The SH-832H runs 2.48 m and 168 g; the SH-862H runs 2.59 m and 177 g. Both are two-piece, 99 percent carbon builds rated for PE 0.5-1.2 lines and egi sizes 3.0 to 4.0. Those H-power ratings with mid-to-large egi sizes place the series toward the stronger end of shore eging, suited to bigger squid and heavier jigs rather than finesse sizes.
