TOYO XIAO YING II

The TOYO XIAO YING II ("Small Shadow II") is the second generation of Hearty Rise's ultra-compact all-purpose telescopic rod. It keeps the first generation's pack-anywhere character while adding a stiffer, firmer action, and the maker pitches it as a one-rod answer for stream fishing, pond fishing, and light saltwater work, a rod to keep in the car or bag and fish wherever you end up.

Four models cover 1.8 m to 2.7 m in 0.3 m steps, telescoping over 6 to 9 sections down to closed lengths of 36.5-42 cm. Weights run 100 g to 200 g on 53 percent carbon blanks, and all four share a No. 15-20 sinker rating. The float-rod format with a common sinker window across lengths keeps the range simple: pick the length for the water, and the duty rating stays the same.
