The Valley Hunter Limited is a limited-production run of the Valley Hunter travel format built with a recent TORAY carbon material that delivers high strength and high elasticity at once. Hearty Rise notes this class of material is rarely used in multi-piece travel blanks; applying it here makes the four-piece rods lighter, more sensitive, and better-handling while keeping tensile and impact strength. The maker rates the pair as genuinely multi-purpose: stream lure fishing, lake and reservoir bass, and saltwater black porgy on the same rod.
Two four-piece models are offered, both 2.02 m with a 54.7 cm closed length on 99 percent carbon blanks in the R-MF action family: the VHC-684ML-L at 113 g, rated 3-14 g and 4-12 lb, and the VHS-684L-L at 100 g, rated 2-10 g and 3-8 lb. Production is limited-quantity.
