Xuanfeng (玄風) is an iso float rod designed for largescale blackfish (kurodai's rocky-shore neighbor, 黑毛) and black seabream, fished with light lines against strong fish. The slim blank carries a supple 6:4 action that protects fine tippets, while the thin, sensitive tip telegraphs the subtle takes of line-shy fish and allows a fast response to cut down on missed strikes. A two-stage zoom positioning system adapts the rod to close rock-edge work or standard float presentations, and the maker notes the design also lowers wind resistance for better handling on blustery days.
Eight models cover sinker loads from 1.5-4 go up to 5 go class, including 4P and 5P versions, mostly in a 45/53 zoom format around 5.27 m in five sections, plus a 53/60 model reaching 6.17 m. Blanks are 99 percent carbon with weights from 227 g.
