Yan Yue Dao (偃月刀 戰鬥調) is a battle-action pond pole aimed at two of Taiwan's toughest fixed-line targets: wary, pressure-educated tilapia and large, unpredictable carp. The blank is built from ultra-light material with a stiff, powerful mid-section that stores substantial rebound force for the fight, and the handle is shaped for a secure hold during extended battles.

The series is unusual in offering both joint styles: two put-over (並繼) models at 3.62 m and 3.87 m in four sections, and three telescopic (振出) models at 3.74 m, 3.97 m and about 4.5 m. Weights run 161 g to 178 g across the listed sizes, with closed lengths from 103 cm to 113 cm, all on 99 percent carbon blanks. The stout build reflects its battle-pole role, prioritizing lifting power and control over minimum weight.
