Zhan Feng (斬峰) is a big-fish pole designed by the HR team for heiken (black pit) commercial ponds, the stocked heavyweight fisheries of the Chinese mainland market, and was built as a special for the Yuzhuo tackle chain. The design brief was hard, light and stiff: a strong blank that soaks up the sudden surges big pond fish are known for, buying the angler room to fight, with high tackiness (stickiness under load) to keep hooked fish pinned. The finish is an ornate cloud-and-wave pattern over imperial yellow.

Seven telescopic models cover 3.6, 3.9, 4.5, 4.8, 5.4, 5.7 and 6.3 m in four and five sections and up. Listed weights are modest for a big-fish pole, from 88 g at 3.6 m to 142 g at 4.8 m, on 99 percent carbon blanks with closed lengths of 107 cm to 116 cm.
