Fiber

The Fiber series uses fiber-composite blanks to deliver iRod's technique coverage at a lower price than the graphite series. The rods are built with iRod reel seats and EVA grips, iRod semi-micro guides and zirconia inserts in place of the Fuji components found on the higher tiers. The casting models target power techniques: a 7' Medium Heavy (IRF703C, 3/16-3/8 oz), a 7' Heavy, the 7'5" Magic Stick rated for 50-70 lb braid and 1/2-2 oz lures, the 7'6" Light Flip / Junk Rod with a moderate action for casting reaction baits with pulling power, and the 7'4" Junk Rod Jr. The spinning side is a single 7' Medium finesse rod (IRF702S, 6-12 lb, 1/8-3/8 oz) with an extra-fast tip. Several of the casting models mirror builds offered in the graphite Genesis III line (the Magic Stick and the Light Flip / Junk Rod), giving anglers the same technique at the value price point. Actions run Fast on the core models and Moderate on the flipping rod, with line ratings from 6-12 lb up to 50-70 lb braid.
