Genesis III

Genesis III is iRod's deepest and most varied freshwater series, built across several blank types and offered in casting and spinning. Reaction-bait models pair glass or glass/graphite composite tips with graphite backbones, including Stone Cold Squarebill, Gabe's Rip Rap Special and the Crank Launcher deep-crank rods, while the swimbait sticks use thin-wall construction to keep large rods light enough to fish all day. Many models were designed with iRod pro staff and guides and carry their names: Harold's Lone Star Special by Harold Allen, the Stone Cold rods by Marty Stone, Britt's Finesse builds, Snyders' Sniper by kayak pro Rus Snyders, and Bailey's Swim and Mag Swim by Paul Bailey. The casting lineup covers everything from short all-around 6'9" rods through jerkbait, flipping, punch and umbrella-rig rods (the Bama Rig Special) up to a progression of dedicated swimbait sticks: the 7'8" Jr. Swim for 5-to-7-inch baits, the 7'9" Large Swim for 8-to-10-inch baits, the 7'9" Jumbo Swim for 10-to-12-inch baits at 8-12 oz, and an 8'6" Mag Swim for the biggest glidebaits. The spinning models are finesse and power-finesse rods from 7'1" to 7'7", including a Medium Light G2 Ultra Finesse and Britt's Finesse Swim. Lures range from 1/16 oz to 12 oz and line from 5-10 lb up to 50-70 lb braid.
