The Kaimana Coastal series is iRod's saltwater line, carrying the brand's component package into the ocean. It splits into two groups. The offshore SOS stand-up rail rods (SOS745SR, SOS746SR, SOS737SR) are 7'3" to 7'4" Extra Heavy and heavier rods rated from 40-60 lb line up to 100-200 lb, built for heavy pelagic and big-game work, priced from $359 to $399. The inshore SWK models are casting jig-and-bait rods from 7'6" to 8'2", running Medium through Heavy power and 2-6 oz lures, for coastal targets including Calico Bass and Yellowtail. The 8' SWK803/804/805 casting rods cover all-around inshore work from a 12-25 lb Medium up to a 20-30 lb Heavy with an extra-fast tip, priced around $205, while the longer 8'2" SWK823/824 rods add reach for casting jigs and fishing live bait. Inshore models use carbon-reinforced blanks with a custom iRod reel seat, premium EVA grips and Fuji O-Type guides, the same guide family used on the Crusher freshwater rods. Actions are Moderate to Extra Fast across the inshore lineup.
