The Diabolus is the Amazonas Special, Jabbers' jerkbait family for the fishery that started the brand. The core pair are 6'6" medium heavy five-pieces rated 10-56 g and PE3, in baitcast (DJC665MH) and spinning (DJS665MH) builds, with the length to cast between structure and the backbone to turn peacock bass before the timber. Above them sits the DJC5105HDT Double Tap, a 5'10" heavy rated 14-70 g and PE4 with two tips, Regular Fast and Extra Fast, for working the biggest jerkbaits and taking on payara-class fish.
All three are travel builds first, the five- and six-piece designs made to reach a jungle lodge inside a haversack. Prices run $229 to $259.
