The Jamboree V is the pack-rod jigging family, eight builds covering PE1 to PE6 in spinning and overhead versions. The light PE1-3 pair (6'2") and mid PE2-4 pair (6'0") are Double Tap rods with two tips each: tubular and solid tips for light jigging and tenya on the PE1-3, speed-jig and slow-jig tips for vertical jigging, kabura and inchiku on the PE2-4. The PE3-5 Jig and Bait Specials (JJS665H/JJC665H, 6'6" heavy) double as boat bait rods, and the PE4-6 pair (JJS635XH/JJC635XH, 6'3" extra heavy, fast) handle deep water and big jigs.
Every build packs to about half a meter, aimed at the charter-boat trips where the jigging happens a flight away from home. Prices run $259 to $289.
