The Rage Receiver is the Monster Spec, the strongest travel rods Jabbers makes. The baitcasting RRC645XXH+ is a 6'4" double extra heavy rated 30-60 lb and PE6, casting 14-100 g; the spinning RRS665XH+ is a 6'6" extra heavy at 25-50 lb and PE5, casting 10-90 g. Both are 5+1 builds with a spare section in the tube, priced $239.
The design story on the brand's site is the rod's best review: a prototype handed to a skeptical angler bound for Lake Murray produced a 44 lb Papua New Guinea black bass on its first outing. The format is for exactly those trips, where the fish are extreme, the location is remote, and the rod has to arrive in a backpack.
