The Shore Reaper SRS965MH is the shore-casting travel rod, a 9'6" five-piece medium heavy spinning build on a high-modulus blank with a responsive tip over a progressively reinforced mid and butt. It is designed to throw stickbaits, diving minnows, soft plastics and metals from beaches, breakwalls and river mouths, then control strong fish around structure with the lower half of the blank.
The brand's field testing centered on India's coastline, where the rod built its record on threadfin salmon from surf beaches and estuaries. At $269 it brings shore-casting reach to the same haversack format as the rest of the range.
