The Snake Charmer is a trio of baitcasting travel rods built for Asia's giant snakehead, each for a different fight. The Cage Fight is a 5'5" double extra heavy rated 40-65 lb and 28-150 g, the boat-side winch for fish buried in cover. The SCC695MH is the open-water rod, a 6'9" medium heavy casting to 35 g for covering water on free-swimming toman. Between them sits the SCC725H Double Tap, a 7'2" heavy rated to 70 g with Extra Fast and Regular Fast tips, trading some of each extreme for range plus stopping power.
All three are five- or six-piece builds priced $229 to $249, sized for the regional trips where the snakehead swamps are a short flight away.
