FREE is Jointer's lure pack-rod series, built on the idea of keeping a serious rod in whatever bag a trip already uses. The lineup runs seven models: five-piece spinning builds from the 4'11" FREE411-S5 (78 g, 35 cm closed) up to the 9-foot FREE90-S5 and its PWR power version, plus two four-piece baitcasting models at 6'8" (the FREE68-C4 and the heavier C4 PWR, rated to 75 g possible).
Each rod publishes two lure ranges, a possible window and a narrower recommended one, along with regular to regular-fast tapers and PE-denominated line ratings. The light end targets Japanese stream natives such as iwana and yamame on 1-7 g lures; the middle covers bass and light salt; the 9-footers and the bait models reach shore jigging, seabass, and swimbait duty. Closed lengths run 35 to 61 cm, and the series ships with travel-oriented details like roll-top multi-rod cases. Prices run ¥22,000 to ¥42,000.
