Mixture Solo is the rod-only spin-off of Jointer's Mixture, a telescopic rod-and-reel set aimed at people who want to add a little fishing to a camping trip, a motorcycle tour, or a walk to a nearby pier. Buyers kept asking for the blank without the bundled reel, so Jointer split it out.
The two models collapse to 43 and 46 cm: the SOLO 56 is a 5'6" telescopic rated 3-10 g with a 10 lb ceiling, and the SOLO 610 stretches to 6'10" and 3-14 g. Both wear the family's orange grip accent and are deliberately unspecialized, covering sabiki rigs, bottom rigs, and light lure casting on the same blank. At ¥5,900 and ¥6,800 they are the least expensive rods Jointer sells with a reel seat, positioned as a first rod or a keep-in-the-car spare rather than a technique tool.
Shaded band: the spread of the lineup's 2 models, as percentile rank among same-type rods. Solid line = series median · dashed ring = catalog median.

A 5'6" telescopic that keeps a whole fishing trip in a daypack side pocket: sabiki rigs, bottom rigs, and 3-10 g lures on one unpretentious rod.
The longer Mixture Solo adds casting reach for piers and park ponds while collapsing to 46 cm; rated 3-14 g with a 14 lb ceiling.
