MOUN-TEN reads mountain into tenkara, and the series is exactly that: fixed-line tenkara rods designed around multi-day trips where the rod rides a backpack into headwater country. The 2.6 m MOUN-TEN 26 is sized for tight, tree-choked genryu streams; the 3.0 m 30 adds reach for open pools. Both collapse to about 40 cm, weigh 60-66 g, and carry a 7:3 tip-flex action matched to Jointer's own tenkara level line for longer casts than the length suggests.
The practical details are what mark the mountain brief: a coyote-colored finish, a neoprene case, and factory spare parts for the first and second tip sections in the box, because a snapped tip three valleys from a road should not end the trip. Prices are ¥16,800 and ¥17,800.
