SPROUT

SPROUT, named for a first sprouting, is Jointer's beginner pole: one 2.7 m telescopic model in five colors, built on the belief that a first rod should be simple enough that the fishing, not the tackle, is the experience. Eleven sections collapse to 33 cm, so the rod stores anywhere, and the 7.5:2.5 tip-flex taper keeps bite response crisp on simple bait rigs.

At ¥8,800 it slots between the Waterside pocket poles and the tenkara rods in Jointer's fixed-line range, aimed at families and first-timers fishing sabiki and float rigs from banks and piers.
