TENKARA FLY is Jointer's approachable tenkara pairing: 3.3 m and 3.6 m telescopic rods at ¥9,000 and ¥9,800 that put fixed-line fly fishing within a beginner's budget. Where the mountain-focused MOUN-TEN rods run a 7:3 tip-flex action, these carry a softer 6.5:3.5 taper that flexes into the mid-section, which slows the casting stroke down and makes level-line casting easier to learn.
Both collapse below 50 cm and weigh 85-92 g, with 0.7 mm tip diameters. The 33M suits smaller streams and tighter banks; the 36M adds working reach for wider water.
