AIRFLO Ishidai is a dedicated stone bream (dolldom) surf rod, the heavy end of JS Company's won-tu range, also rated by the maker for red seabream and black porgy from rocks and breakwaters. Two 4-piece models are offered: a 5.4 m at 760 g and a 5.25 m at 740 g, closing to 141 and 138 cm. Both carry an MH power with fast taper and a PE 12-22 line rating, the kind of reserve needed for wrenching ishidai away from reef structure on heavy bottom rigs.
The blank is 99 percent carbon, and the spec table lists a separate rod-rest butt piece weighing 120 g for fishing the rod off a tripod or rail rest. At ₩792,000 to ₩822,000 these are the most expensive rods in the AIRFLO family by a wide margin, positioned as specialist tackle rather than general surf gear.
Shaded band: the spread of the lineup's 2 models, as percentile rank among same-type rods. Solid line = series median · dashed ring = catalog median.
