ASENSE Tournament Special is the top competition tier of JS Company's trout line, carrying the maker's 'high grade performance rods for TROUT' branding. Four 2-piece SS-prefix spinning models span UL to M: the 6-foot UL at 1.82 m and the 6'2" L and ML at 1.88 m all weigh 72 g, with lure windows stepping from 0.5-2.5 g through 0.9-4.0 g. All are fast-taper blanks, a quicker action than the moderate-fast T1 series, suited to precise spoon work.
Construction is 99 percent carbon and the rods are built in Korea, with cork grips and a wood-insert reel seat. Pricing of ₩380,000 to ₩390,000 places the Tournament Special at roughly triple the T1 Trout, the series a competition-minded area angler steps up to for lighter swing weight in the same lengths.
