BIXOD A2 VER.2 is JS Company's dedicated inshore rod, which the maker also rates for shore-walking flounder and rockfish, juvenile hairtail, and general inner-bay lure work. Five 2-piece spinning models run from the S762L-ML through the S972MH-H, with the mid-range covering 2.29 to 2.58 m at 117 to 131 g. Lure ratings climb from 10-28 g on the 7'6" up to 20-45 g on the 7'11", with PE-class line ratings throughout, enough range to swim minnows for seabass or hop jigheads for flounder off the same rod.
Every model is a fast-taper, 99 percent carbon blank built in Korea. At ₩270,000 to ₩290,000 for the sampled models the A2 VER.2 sits in the middle of the BIXOD saltwater range, below the BIXOD N A3 LUMA and A4 that occupy the same inshore slot at higher spec.
