Liberty Ocean is pitched by JS Company as the benchmark standard Korean boat rod, a value line covering the two staple west-coast boat games. Four models are flounder (gwang-eo) downshot rods and two are oesujil live-bait models, all two-piece fast-taper baitcasters on 99% carbon blanks around 97-104 g. Sinker ratings run 15-60 ho depending on model, with PE 0.8-2.5 line ranges; the shop also lists Spanish mackerel among the targets.
The documentation is unusually thorough for the 139,000 KRW price class: each model carries a JS sinker-matching star chart across 20-60 ho, and bend curves are published at both 0 and 45 degree load angles, so buyers can match the rod to their boat's standard sinker before purchase. An ABS softshell case with YKK waterproof zipper, velcro rod retention, and shoulder strap is included.
