Liberty Ocean Inshore is JS Company's 2026 inshore spinning lineup, three two-piece models on 99% carbon blanks. The S832ML (2.52 m, 124 g) throws 5-30 g, the S862ML (2.58 m, 130 g) 5-35 g, and the S972M (2.92 m, 150 g) 10-40 g, all fast-action with PE 0.8-1.5 line ranges. Tip diameters of 1.6-1.8 mm and closed lengths under 1.5 m keep the rods practical for shore and small-boat travel.
As with the rest of the Liberty Ocean family, the published data goes beyond a spec table: static-load bend comparisons at 60, 120, 250, and 350 g plus a JS optimal lure-weight star guide identify the sweet spot of each model (20 g on the S832ML, up to 30-40 g on the S972M).
