The NIXX EX INK is a Korean-made spinning series for webfoot octopus (jukkumi) and cuttlefish, built long for casting egi from boat or breakwater rather than dropping straight down. Two fast-taper 99% carbon models are offered: the tubular S832M, 2.51 m and 120 g rated EGI 4-7 ho, and the S842M-CST, 2.53 m and 108 g with a 0.95 mm solid tip rated EGI 3-6 ho. Both run PE 0.8-1.2 with closed lengths around 129 cm.
The choice between the two is tip behavior: the tubular S832M for positive jig control with larger egi, the solid-tip S842M-CST for reading soft touches on lighter jigs. At about 198,000-208,000 KRW the EX INK sits between the value NIXX squid rods and the graphene INK N AIR baitcasters in JS Company's cephalopod range.
Shaded band: the spread of the lineup's 2 models, as percentile rank among same-type rods. Solid line = series median · dashed ring = catalog median.
