The NIXX Ocean VER.2 is a boat squid rod the shop titles as a hanchi (spear squid) rod, with the spec table also listing cuttlefish as a target. Two two-piece solid-tip baitcasters are offered on 99% carbon blanks: the BC602ST, 1.82 m and 120 g with a regular-fast action and 8-25 ho sinker rating on PE 0.8-1.5, and the BC622ST, 1.88 m and 122 g, fast action, rated 10-30 ho on PE 1.0-1.5.
Tip diameters of 0.7-0.8 mm give the fine visual and tactile bite registration that vertical squid work demands, while the regular-fast versus fast split lets anglers choose between a softer sumaru through the tip and quicker jig response. Both models are priced around 162,000 KRW, a mid-entry position in JS Company's squid boat range.
