The Revolution Ahi Jig ($299.99) is a 5'2" vertical speed-jigging rod on a solid-carbon blank, chosen over hollow construction for lifting strength under heavy load. Two powers cover 100-400 g on PE 3-6 with 40 lb of max drag, and 200-600 g on PE 4-8 with 50 lb, each in spinning and spiral-wrapped conventional builds with Fuji guides and reel seats and a moderate-fast action.
It targets amberjack, yellowfin tuna, grouper and dogtooth tuna, where backbone and lifting power decide the fight.
