Kaki Bako is Kanicen Nix's stream rod, a limited edition built for small, fast water. It is a 6'0" two-piece on a 30+36-tonne blank, rated 1-3 lb, the lightest line rating in the brand's standard lineup, casting up to 7 g with a moderate fast action that loads deeper than the pond rods to cushion light line in current. The build has more furniture than its price class suggests: a birdseye maple reel seat, cork grip and butt, KLSG and ATLSG guides and a hook keeper, at 80 g complete.
Spinning and baitcasting versions both sell at RM289. The brief is jungle stream fishing for species like sebarau, sikang and seluang, where casts are short and accurate, fish run hard in current, and a 1-3 lb rating turns modest fish into the whole point of the trip.
Shaded band: the spread of the lineup's 2 models, as percentile rank among same-type rods. Solid line = series median · dashed ring = catalog median.
