Mambang Hitam is Kanicen Nix's ultralight jigging rod, now in its second generation. It is a 6'0" one-piece on a 30-tonne Japanese carbon blank, rated 1-6 lb with a fast action, sold in spinning and baitcasting versions. The build is unusually light for a jigging rod: 93 g complete, with a bare blank the brand lists at 28 g. Components are Fuji SiC guides in KR Concept layout on a custom reel seat.
The rod is designed around a specific and growing niche in Malaysian saltwater fishing: ultralight jigging from kayaks and small boats, dropping micro jigs on inshore structure for whatever pulls back. The one-piece build keeps the blank's recovery clean for working jigs, and the 1-6 lb rating pairs with the PE 0.2-0.6 class setups common in that game. At RM369 it sits in the upper half of the brand's standard lineup.
