Mampuihhh, named for a Malaysian exclamation, is Kanicen Nix's dedicated snakehead ultralight. It is a 6'6" two-piece on an IM6 blank with a 3K carbon wrap, rated 3-6 lb and 3-6 g with a fast action, sold in spinning and baitcasting versions at RM290. Components are Fuji O guides on a custom reel seat with cork grips, and complete weight is around 115 g.
The spec targets the lighter end of snakehead fishing: haruan and smaller channa species on jump frogs, soft plastics and small hardbaits, where the sport is in the strike and the fight rather than winching fish from heavy cover. The 3-6 lb window sets it apart from the brand's 2-6 lb peacock bass rods; it starts a step heavier because snakehead rarely give a clean first run.
