Montok is a pre-order launched pair of finesse rods positioned on component grade: both builds carry Fuji guides and cork grips at a mid-range price. The ultralight version is 6'3", rated 1-6 lb and casting up to 7 g; the light BFS version is a shorter 5'6" rated 4-10 lb and up to 10 g, both two-piece with fast actions and offered in spinning and baitcasting versions. List prices are RM279 and RM289, with the launch run pre-sold at RM229.
The brand sells the pair under its Peacock Bass Series and markets couple bundles of two rods, but the split is really by technique: the 6'3" ultralight for open pond casting, the 5'6" BFS rod for accurate short work in tight swims. Alongside the Sebat family it forms the middle of the brand's pond lineup, the step where Fuji hardware arrives.
