Road Runner is the moderate-action rod in Kanicen Nix's ultralight lineup, built for the techniques the fast rods handle badly: drifting natural baits and working small crankbaits. It is a 6'6" two-piece on a 24-tonne blank, rated 2-6 lb and 2-7 g, with a solid tip and a through-bending moderate action. The tip and taper let fish take a drifted bait without feeling resistance, and keep small trebles pinned when a crankbait fish surges close to the bank. Both spinning and baitcasting versions sell at RM188, the cheapest rods in the lineup, with standard EVA and guide furniture; complete weight is 110 g.
Within the range it is the counterpart to the fast-action Sebat: same length class and line rating, opposite bend, chosen by technique rather than by species.
Shaded band: the spread of the lineup's 2 models, as percentile rank among same-type rods. Solid line = series median · dashed ring = catalog median.
