Sebat is one of Kanicen Nix's entry points into ultralight fishing, a two-piece family split into two builds. The base Sebat is a 6'6" ultralight on a 24-tonne blank, rated 2-6 lb and 2-7 g with a fast action, KR Concept guides and EVA grips, aimed squarely at peacock bass ponds at an RM188 price. The Sebat Black Edition Generation 2 steps the family up rather than sideways: a 6'0" light-power build on a stiffer 30+36-tonne blank, rated 6-12 lb and casting up to 12 g, for the same waters when the fish or the cover outgrow true ultralight tackle.
Both builds come in spinning and baitcasting versions and keep rod weight under 110 g. Between them the family covers the common progression for Malaysian pond anglers: start on the ultralight Sebat, move to the Black Edition when heavier snakehead water demands it.
