Sengat, Malay for sting, is a limited edition built around one species: ikan bulan, the Indo-Pacific tarpon. It is a two-piece ultralight on a 24-tonne blank, rated 1-6 lb and casting up to 7 g, with a moderate fast action that matters more here than on most rods; tarpon jump repeatedly and throw hooks against stiff blanks, so the softer bend keeps small lures pinned through the aerials. The spinning build sells at 6'6" for RM289 and the baitcaster at 6'4" for RM199, both with SKSS reel seats, KR Concept guides and cork grips at 109 g.

The brand's spec sheet lists the lineup at 6'4" and 6'7", while the order form sells the spinning rod as 6'6"; the catalog follows the per-variant order form. Either way the format is classic estuary tarpon fishing: short accurate casts with small hardbaits and soft plastics, light line, and a rod that bends instead of pulling free.
