WILD SIDE HP is the High Performance rebuild of the standard WILD SIDE line, updating the blank material and manufacturing rather than the model concepts. It uses upgraded carbon, including Toray T1100G and M40X, with aramid reinforcement positioned by purpose: power-oriented models get full-body aramid wrap, while models built around casting feel and balance get reinforcement in the butt section only.
The lineup splits into WHPC baitcasting and WHPS spinning models. The WHPC69MH is a 6'9" power all-rounder rated 7-28g lures and 12-20lb line for cover punching, large hard baits and wire baits; the WHPS61UL is a 6'1" light-rig spinning model rated 0.9-5g lures, 2-5lb fluoro or PE #0.3-1 for downshot and wacky presentations from reservoirs to large lakes. The baitcasting models report a 90% carbon, 5% aramid, 5% fiberglass composition.
Like the standard line, HP casting models use the Fuji ECS reel seat. The series is positioned to combine power and suppleness while reducing angler fatigue, aimed at users who want the WILD SIDE concept on a higher-grade blank.
